Westland Houseplant Potting Mix is specially formulated for potting or re-potting most indoor plants.

Enriched with seramis granules to absorb and release water & nutrients when plants require. This dry, free draining, peat free mix is enriched with perlite for airflow and draining and zinc complex to aid faster repotting establishment and root growth.

This product will come with any relevant warnings, please read carefully before use.

Plants will eventually require re-potting as they become pot bound. This is when roots appear through the drainage holes in the pot. First water the plant well and allow it to drain. Choose a pot larger than the old one ensuring it has adequate drainage holes. Place a layer of potting mix in the bottom of the new pot, and gently tap the old plant from its pot. Place in the new pot ensuring the root ball is slightly below the rim of the new pot. Fill in around the root ball with potting mix, gently tapping the pot to ensure all spaces are filled. Water the plant well and allow excess water to drain away. Place plants in bright positions but avoid direct sunlight if possible. Avoid large fluctuations in room temperatures as this may cause leaf drop. Treat houseplants to a leaf shine to remove dust.
