Small boxes
String or twine
Craft paper or Christmas wrap in your favourite festive designs
Mini gifts and goodies, such as chocolate coins or card games
CREATE A HANGING ADVENT CALENDAR: STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE
- Fill a selection of small boxes with a present of your choice – this could be chocolate coins, card games or even your households' favourite Christmas sweeties
- Wrap each box with craft paper or Christmas wrap, numbering each box 1 to 24
- Tie twine or ribbon around each box and attach it to your staircase at alternating heights to add dimension and interest. Add leftover Christmas baubles or candy canes for an extra treat – it is Christmas after all!
