GET COMFORTABLE

September can often bring some last-minute sunshine that you’ll want to take full advantage of. Find the perfect spot in your garden to place your sofa, egg chair, or bistro set. If you want to be amongst the life of your garden, pick a spot somewhere near a patio or terrace, or if you want peace and quiet, choose somewhere private up the back of your garden around a tall fence or hedge for your late summer relaxation

SET THE MOOD

Just because the sun is setting earlier each night doesn’t mean your garden time needs to be cut short. With solar lights you can brighten up every area of your garden, allowing you to enjoy it long into the night. To set the mood, hang your ambient string lighting along trees, fences or on a pergola – or if preferred you can use stake lights along pathways or around patios to guide you through your garden after sundown

ADD COLOURFUL ACCENTS

The easiest way to personalise your garden is by adding your favourite late summer and autumn colours to your decor. Warm, rich-toned shrubs like Skimmia, Hebe and Heuchera work beautifully in pots and containers, meaning you can easily move them around in your garden wherever you’d like. Don’t forget you can mix and match on 2ltr shrubs with our 2 for £20 offer when you shop with us in store

Finish off with soft furnishings like cushions and outdoor rugs in complementary shades – don't forget a cosy blanket for those slightly cooler nights!

Now all that’s left to do is sit back and enjoy the light breeze with your favourite hot drink before the cooler months approach
