The Garlic Garcua produces bulbs with a white papery skin and pink cloves. Not just amazing for adding flavour to food, garlic is also well known as a companion plant as it acts as a powerful insect pest repellent.

Cooked fresh from the garden, it can also be stored for use throughout the year if kept in a cool, dry cupboard. You can even grow garlic in containers on a patio or balcony, as long as the container is at least 20cm deep.
