Black kale is a hardy green vegetable which is prized for being one of the most delicious kale varieties. With dark, blue-green crinkled leaves, it has a nutty, earthy taste that can be brought out by light sauteing.
Black Kale provides you with a bountiful crop - a high reward for little work! It can cope with light shade, and is extremely hardy and disease-resistant compared to other varieties.
Please note that all our plants come in simple plastic pots unless otherwise stated in the product name. If you wish to pot yours up we do have a wide range of pots to choose from.

- Preparation & UsageWhen seedlings have 5-6 true leaves, transplant them to their final positions, watering well. Apply a mulch around the base of the plants to help the soil to retain moisture. Protect your crops with netting, mesh or fleece to prevent bird attacks.
