Considered to be one of the most handsome trees, with its lovely blue/green foliage and pleasant fragrance, Noble fir has good needle holding properties. It is often a popular choice because of the more open branching and great shape - ideal for showing off larger decorations. It displays all the characteristics of the perfect Christmas tree.
It is grown from hand raised seedlings transplanted into growing pots plunged in the open field. Each pot is dotted with tiny holes, which allow the finer tree roots to find nutrients from the surrounding soils, whilst keeping the main root system protected and intact within.
It's this method of growing, with minimal impact on the root system, that can give trees an excellent chance of survival if transplanted into the garden after the festivities.
