We only offer peat-free bagged compost
We were the winners of the RHS Sustainable Garden Product of the Year for our own-brand, peat-free compost in 2022

We offer wildlife-friendly plants and have our own brand wildflower seeds

Recycling
We are partnered with sustainable plant pot designer, elho, to provide plastic pot recycling bins in our garden centres
We have compost bag recycling bins in our garden centres
We minimise potential food waste through our partnership with Too Good To Go
Used fat from our restaurants is collected for recycling
99% of our waste is diverted from landfill
76% of our waste is recycled on site
In our stores
We host a monthly, free, Little Seedlings Club to encourage the next generation of young gardeners and share sustainable messages
We host monthly, free, Grow How sessions, for gardeners of all abilities or anyone who has a question on how to garden in a sustainable way
We are working in partnership with Be.EV and GRIDSERVE to offer electric charging in a number of our stores, with more locations on the way
We only offer recyclable carrier bags
