      • Crocosmia Lucifer boast sprays of gorgeous scarlet flowers, which make wonderful cut flowers to bring the late summer indoors. Ideal for both pots and borders, plant it in swathes for maximum impact.

        The tomato-red, funnel-shaped flowers appear in August and September above pleated, mid-green leaves. This vibrant bulbous perennial prefers sunny, sheltered site and looks great as part of a 'hot' colour scheme.

      • Bulbs/Tubers not to be eaten
      • Keep Crocosmia well-watered during the growing period. The corms are never completely dormant, so leave them in the ground, providing a good mulch in all but the mildest areas. Plant from March onwards at 5cm deep and 10cm apart.
