Skip to main content- Start your tubers in 10cm pots.
- Place your tubers dimple side up, on the surface of the compost.
- Place in a warm environment (about 15 degrees) & keep the soil moist.
- When the shoots have developed, plant into pots/baskets, but keep them outside.
- Watch out for mildew, a fungal disease that appears as white, powdery patches on the leaves.
- If you have tubers you want to keep, want until the first light frost kills off the top growth.
- Remove tubers from the compost & allow them to dry for a few days somewhere warms.
- Remove all the top growth & store in dry compost, in a cool, frost free place
